Piurity is a year ten drop out school leaver from Vureas High school whom she return back to her home island of Pentecost and started a small business in weaving. Her regular clients are teachers and people who travel to do Banking in an area where she lives. She is a single mother of two kids now residing in the town of Port Vila and earn a small booth at the Haos blong handicraft market. She is also an expert in weaving using pandanus leaves. She produces beautiful handicrafts such as baskets of all sizes, wine holder, shopping bag, laundry basket, lamp shade and mirror frame. For a wine holder she can weave up to 2 in a day. She has few clients in Australia whom they love using her products. Pentecost Island is popular for its beautiful creation of weaving from pandanus leaves.
