Madeline started artifacts business back in 1993 when her kids were still very young. She started by weaving flowers and string baskets from pandanus leaves to sell to tourists. She has learned a lot about being an entrepreneurship and had find ways of making money to be able to survive longer in the business. From experience and skills sharing with other colleagues in the same business, this guided her to create her own designs which she uses to produce her own local hand painted designs on clothing. Her designs became popular on different clothing line such dresses, shirts, lavalava and table cloth. Her designs attract a lot of attentions for tourists and local buyers. She can produce on orders on any quantity. The money she earns from her business helps her family of four kids, a husband who is carpenter, for living.
