Herveline

Herveline produces beautiful jewellery using natural seeds collected from tree nuts and rope seeds. She is a mother of two and owns a small business to sell her produces of jewellery. She produces necklaces, bracelets and earrings and sells at the Haos blong Handicraft market. The colours of her jewellery are natural seeds colours that come in black and red. She uses seashells as well for a beautiful fine touch. Her big supplies come from her kinsmen from the island of Mataso. Mataso island is well known in Vanuatu for producing this unique types of jewellery. These pieces of jewellery have become popular in Vanuatu and in the region for house decorations, conferences, visitors gifts and personal clothing. Wearing these natural local handmade jewellery gives a sense of belonging to the environment and nature.
